Subject: [ferrethealth] Can mycoplasma pulmonis trasnfer from mice to ferrets?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have feeding mice for my ferrets, and as I have experienced some cases of respiratory infection, I think they have the bacteria mycoplasma pulmonis.

It seems from what I can find, that mycoplasma pulmonis is specific to mice and rats, and therefore there should be no harm in feeding the ferrets with these mice, does this hold true?
