Subject: [ferrethealth] My Beautiful Fuzzy Buster
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I read everyone' questions and reports about their fuzzies and I just want to tell everyone that sometimes it is hard to know what is wrong with your ferret no matter how much you love them. My Buster would have been four this May 22nd and died within a hour after me finding him not hardly moving on the family room floor this morning. His body temperature was low and he seemed to have lost weight overnight. The vet hospital thought he might have insulloma so I gave him sugar water and heated up a sock with rice to help increase his body temperature but he passed before we could pull out of the garage. He seemed to be responding well but God must have felt it was time for this little fellow to go to Rainbow Bridge with his brother Schuster who passed last June. I am devestated by this and my heart is tore up and I can only relate to those who have lost their babies and told their tales of woe on this site.

[Reminder that sympathy messages must be sent directly
to the poster, please, and in such sad and unfortunate
circumstances I am sure there will be a number.

It is usually impossible to know the cause of death
without doing pathology work if a death happens
without clear symptoms beforehand. For information
on doing that to answer questions or for those times
when there is question if other ferrets may be at risk:

The FHL is here to learn about health problems so while
there is certainly emotional support the main focus is on
improving health care.
