I will get him in for surgery in the morning. He did have a small bowel movement today. I have been syringe feeding him every 5 or 6 hours and he is also getting Metronidazole twice a day. I've also noticed that he is dragging his face along the ground (like sliding his chin - as if it's itchy) and if I move his face it seems to bother him. The vet originally thought it was either a blockage of some sort or irritable bowel, but after taking his temp. in the exam room, he had a bowel movement on the table. I will get him back into the vet in the morning.

[Moderator:

If he is beginning to pass feces then any blockage may have shifted out.
At least that certainly is the hope rather than an unresolved problem
remaining. The appointment fist thing tomorrow makes complete
sense.]
