Arlena ,
Ill tell ya what I do for Zeek cause he hates hid Pred meds and I got so tired of fighting him to take it with a syringe , and I think it was stressing him out to. I just take some water in a bowl and I put some of his regular food in it , throw it in the microwave till it is boiling then i take a fork and squish it all up till it is soupy, then i put a very small amount of some chicken broth that i saved over from making a chicken, and a small amount of his ferrivite and put the meds in and mix it all up and he just gobbled it right down , I had tried a lot of things be4 and he wasnt falling for it either , he KNEW that med was in there ... little stinker bean , but know with this mix he seems to just gobble gobble it up like a little turkey butt, hope this helps. and no more fights..!!!!

[Remember that each med will have its
own restrictions so always check with the
vet or with the pharmacy that is filling a
prescription about which ones (before
hitting the stomach or sm intestine) can't
be exposed to heat, which ones can't be
exposed to light, which ones can't be
exposed to water, which ones can't be
exposed to oils, which ones can't be given
with other meds or other herbals that are
given, which ones can not be given with
anything that is high in certain minerals, etc.

Medications vary widely on these scores.
