I agree with Sukie - some ferrets are just naturally thin. I have
one gib I've taken in to the vet several times because I've been
worried that he is so thin. He checks out fine each time. Eats
normally but is rail thin. At the other extreme I have another one
who is so rolly polly he waddles. Also checks out fine. Its a blast
watching them play together because one is so skinny and the other so
plump.

Always good to have a vet check, especially with Newbies : )
