His last glucose reading was a 58. Two weeks before that it was at
80, and 2 weeks before that it was at 60, so it's varying alot. Willy
is 2.5 pounds and he gets 0.12 mL of Prednisone two times a day, so
every twelve hours. The Prednisone is a 20mg/mL concentration. And
he isn't fed like raw meats type thing. Nature's Variety is a
commercial raw diet, which significantly reduces the chances of an
infection. It's already ground up with the meat, organs, and bones.
Willy can't have the a/d because it has chicken it in and he's
allergic to chicken. I don't think my vet carries Carnivore Care but
I'll look into it. In my opinion, Totally Ferret is not a high
quality kibble. Only their Turkey, Venison, Lamb formula contains no
chicken. I can't find the carbohydrate amount for it, but for the
Totally Ferret Active it's 28% Carbs and for the senior formula it's
even higher. I won't go higher than 15% carbs.
I just recently got a new 10 month old ferret. However, his symptoms
were there before she arrived and she got a clean bill of health.
There's nothing he could've come in contact with. They're the only
pets in my apartment and they haven't been outside in months and no
one's pets have been here. And the vet did send a sample of Willy's
adrenal gland to a pathologist and they confirmed it was malignant.
I'm pretty sure I answered all the questions!
