Okay, I missed something.

On what is the idea that Biodor reduces acidity
based upon? Does it say it n the label or something?
Reduce the acidity of what? The urine?

If reduced urine acidity is implied I don't understand
how contents that are mostly amino acids (building
blocks of proteins) would reduce urine acidity. I'd
expect it to reduce pH which would increase acidity
if it has any effect at all on the urine pH.

Lower pH is more acidic; higher pH is more alkaline.
On a typical scale 7 is neutral.

Ferret urine pH needs to stay within a certain range.

Urine that is too alkaline causes certain minerals to
precipitate out and struvite urinary stones are formed
BUT
urine that is too acidic causes other minerals to precipitate
out and cystine urinary stones are formed.

Obviously, EITHER type of stone is bad.

6.5 to 7.5 is the normal urine pH range.
