I found all the info and gave it to the vet. We are going to do full bloodwork on him just to check everything out. We have no problem with the $200.00 test. We'll probably have basic bloodwork done first though. He had adrenal disease before with no symptoms. I would never find a vet in this area that knew about the Tennessee panel, we've tried. He has another vet in Gray Maine (about a 2 hour drive), that did surgery on him. We'll have the bloodwork done here and send it to her. He'll probably fo to her sometime soon for a check up anyway.

My first vet told me straight up that she could do this test but since she was not a specialist, she would not be able to interpret the results. I am not sure if you have had this test taken on one of your ferrets yet, or are thinking of doing it.. but the test is I think $75 (or so it says on the Tennessee Universities' website..) but usually lab charges get tacked onto that and it winds up being close to $200, if not more in some places. I paid $200.
