There's very little doubt it was ECE... in my mind anyway :-). 48
hours (classic timing) after introduction of a baby ferret (notorious
carriers), green diarrhea, vomiting. I believe she said the new boy
has been in the house two and a half weeks and the older ferret just
died. The first few weeks of ECE are the critical period and in
older ferrets, aggressive supportive care during this critical time
is necessary. That's not to say the ferret wasn't provided this, but
we don't know what other health issues may have been involved or how
old the ferret was.
