Having seen a puppy today with distemper, I can vouch for the fact
that that
disease is definitely around. Please do vaccinate your ferret -
distemper is
fatal and a horrible way for a ferret to die. And although rabies
is not
likely in house ferrets, I strongly recommend that vaccine as well
due to all
the legal issues involved.
