Hi Dolly,
Yes, hair loss on the tail and itchy skin can be early
signs of adrenal gland disease. What blood test
did your vet do? Was it the University of Tenn.
adrenal panel or a regular profile to a local lab?
The U of Tenn panel can tell you if it is adrenal gland
disease or something else causing it (seasonal shedding,
etc.).
