Actually, neither may contain feathers according to the pet food industry
definitions. Someone posted a link to a page (on wwww.peteducation.com??)
in the last couple days that explains the different food types. Note that
"meal" is just processed with water removed.
Also note that there are many different grades of meal and by-products that
can be used in pet foods, and unfortunately the consumer has little clue as
to what is in a particular food. Price and company reputation are a partial
guide.
